About Me
Electrical Power Engineer & Software Developer
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering at UCS Goma, I specialize in power systems, embedded development, and IoT solutions. My work bridges electrical engineering with modern software technologies.
Vision & Approach Why Embedded, IoT & CAD?
The Necessary Evolution Towards Smart Grids
The electrical power engineering profession has changed. Legacy networks, designed for linear distribution, are showing their limits against current demands. Today, a high-performing network (Smart Grid) must be capable of self-diagnosis and real-time response. To ensure balance between supply and demand or integrate renewable energies, physical installation is no longer enough: it must be data-driven. This technical reality motivates my journey: I use electronics and software not out of passion for code, but because it's now the only way to build reliable and resilient electrical networks.
CAD by Engineers, for Engineers
In the development of design tools (CAD), there's often a gap between the engineer's needs and the developer's solution. Software can be well-coded but ignore critical normative or physical constraints. My approach aims to eliminate this gap. Being from the field myself, I design tools where domain logic precedes software logic. This allows creating sizing and simulation solutions that perfectly match field realities, without the approximations a generalist developer might overlook.
